Number of detected fires at 1 sq.km. resolution
from Jan 1, 2014 to Dec 21, 2018. The average
FRP (fire radiation power measured in kelvin) is calculated for each grid (1x1km).
The height of the grid is representative of the
average FRP, while the color grade simbolizes
the density of detected fires within the grid.
Hover over the map to get data on the number
of fires detected and the average FRP for the particular grid. Use controls to switch between
2D/3D views or desired timeline.
